It was 11 years ago today that the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto released a white paper of what would become world’s best-known cryptocurrency: Bitcoin<\/em><\/strong>. And the reason why it was created \u2014 as a response to the financial crisis back in 2008 \u2014 remains promising to this day. It’s all about not relying on any centralized institutions and traditional financial systems, thus avoiding similar crises in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

And although these 11 years did not succeed at transforming the established financial world, it is amazing how Bitcoin not only managed to survive, but found its solid market where it now resides along with numerous altcoins, thriving despite the market’s inherent volatility and divided opinions.<\/span><\/p>\n
